‘Support Your Colours Ball’ in Croke Park Stadium in aid of Temple Street Children’s University Hospital
The ‘Support Your Colours Ball’ was held in the Hogan Suite in Croke Park on Saturday 20th September 2014 in aid of Temple Street Children's University Hospital. The Ball is proudly sponsored by Mercury Engineering and is a celebration of Ireland’s sporting achievements. It is a great way to spend the eve of the All Ireland Final; the atmosphere is always electric. Every year at Croke Park 80,000 fans pray for the right result. Every day in Temple Street parents stand at the side-lines also praying for the right result. For their child to fight for their lives and to win that fight.
Guests are encouraged to 'tog out’ in their team colours for an evening of great food and music. Sports presenter Michael Lyster MC's the evening and Michael Corcoran conducts one of the toughest sporting quizzes.
The event raised over €60,000 for sick children in Temple Street. The proceeds will go towards the purchase of vital life-saving equipment.
